About me

Arrow pointing right

I'm a freelance communications and marketing specialist. I dedicate my work to arts, education, nonprofit, and future-minded companies because I understand their challenges as intimately as I understand their potential.

Limited resources, evolving audience habits, and a crowded field are ongoing challenges to marketing in these spaces. You need unique support that recognizes these realities.

That’s me. I’m endlessly optimistic about the ways that branding, communications, and marketing can:

  • Help artists and cultural institutions find their audience and fund their work;

  • Create a sustainable foundation for nonprofits balancing limited resources;

  • Help established organizations take their programs to the next level;

  • And successfully advocate for the arts as essential, not extracurricular.

I came to communications more than 10 years ago by way of photography, my artistic focus at the time. Since then, I’ve launched websites, retooled departments, landed stories, cut countless Reels, filmed many a talking head, and sold out a major Chicago venue.

The diversity of my experiences has offered me a vantage point from which to imagine the ways this field can contribute to positive growth and a greater impact for folks doing the good work.

Thank you for creating things that make life more exciting, human, nourishing, safe, and imaginative. How can I help?
